These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of afriCore‑OS, a digital platform designed for SACCOs, cooperatives, and welfare associations in Kenya. By accessing or using afriCore‑OS, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Services Provided
afriCore‑OS provides a cloud-based platform for:
Member management and registration
Savings, share capital, and loan management
Transport and courier management
Financial analytics, dashboards, and reporting
SASRA-compliant reporting for SACCOs
All services are subject to subscription plans and pricing as communicated on the platform.
2. User Eligibility
To use afriCore‑OS, you must:
Be 18 years or older
Operate a SACCO, cooperative, or welfare association in Kenya
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Comply with all applicable laws, including SASRA regulations
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials
Not sharing passwords with unauthorized users
Immediately notifying afriCore‑OS of any unauthorized access
afriCore‑OS is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Fees and Payment
One-Time Setup Fee: KES 20,520
Monthly Subscription Fee: KES 15,905
Payment must be made in full and on time. Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services. Prices may be updated with 30 days’ notice.
5. Use of Platform
You agree to use afriCore‑OS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with:
SASRA regulations for SACCOs
Anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC standards
Ethical and transparent management of members’ funds
You may not:
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to afriCore‑OS or third-party systems
Input false or misleading financial data
Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
6. Data Privacy
Your data is your property. afriCore‑OS will:
Collect, store, and process your data according to our Privacy Policy
Maintain SASRA-compliant reporting and audit trails
Implement security measures to protect member data
You acknowledge that afriCore‑OS may share data with regulators (e.g., SASRA, CBK) or authorized third-party service providers as needed.
7. Intellectual Property
afriCore‑OS owns all rights to the software, interface, and content.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the platform.
You retain ownership of your SACCO’s data, but grant afriCore‑OS a license to process it for service delivery.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law:
afriCore‑OS is provided “as is”.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost member funds.
afriCore‑OS is not responsible for errors in data entered by users.
9. Termination
By You: You may terminate your account at any time.
By afriCore‑OS: We may suspend or terminate your account for:
Breach of this Agreement
Suspected fraud or misuse of the platform
Failure to pay subscription fees
Upon termination:
Your license to use the platform ends immediately
afriCore‑OS may delete or archive your data
You remain responsible for fees incurred prior to termination
10. SASRA Compliance
Users acknowledge that:
afriCore‑OS provides tools to assist SASRA compliance but does not guarantee regulatory approval.
SACCO boards remain responsible for maintaining financial integrity and reporting accuracy.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from the use of afriCore‑OS shall be submitted to the courts of Kenya.
12. Changes to Terms
afriCore‑OS may update this Agreement. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
